Highlighted here are some of the types of sports events that members of Fronterra have participated in / worked to organize:

OCBC Sports Carnival 2005

OCBC's "WooshBang Weekend Sports" was the catchy term to describe OCBC's high-energy, 3-day 2 night sports carnival held in Malacca. The event saw some 200 sports enthusiasts from both the Singapore and Malaysia offices gather at the historic sea port of Malacca for 3 days for a sports carnival that involved 9 exciting segments- badminton, basketball, netball, billiards, bowling, table tennis, tennis, golf and soccer. The event was graced by Dato' Albert Yeoh Beow Tit, CEO of OCBC Malaysia.

ErgoCraze 2004

Singapore 's high-intensity machine rowing championship was held at Youth Park in February 2004. It involved over 200 participants and 1000+ supporters and spectators. It was designed to introduce the world of rowing through its indoor training machine- the ergometer, and spectators had the opportunity to interact with professional rowers and national athletes.

Adventure Quest 2001

Adventure Quest 2001 was designed as Singapore 's first over-night race (36 hours long) taking participants on an expedition-style race across Singapore . The total distance designed was approximately 150 km long. Race disciplines carried out by the competing teams included kayaking, running, navigating, abseiling, ropes ascending, mountain biking and open-sea swimming.

The race took the teams through the Kallang River , forests of Pulau Ubin and Pulau Tekong, the dense foliage around Bukit Timah and eventually ending up at Orchard Road .

A total of more than 300 participants took part in this inaugural event, graced by President Nathan as the Guest-of-Honour. The race was also open to foreign teams - namely teams from Malaysia and Hong Kong team, comprising seasoned adventure racers.

Eco-Challenge 2000

Members of the Fronterra team participated in what is touted as the world's toughest adventure race. Held in Sabah, Malaysia, Lina Goh (Director, Events) led Team Singapore Power- then Asia's first women-majority team to successfully complete the grueling 12 day non-stop 500km adventure course. Eco-Challenge 2001 involved 75 teams from over 10 countries.
